MEGAN ISAACS
Megan Isaacs Jewelry is both simple and daring. Designed to echo the form and texture of large-scale sculpture, each piece is a work of wearable art.
Megan draws much of her inspiration from her South African heritage, incorporating bold shapes in sterling silver, semi-precious stones and found objects into her eclectic collections. Each piece is crafted by hand in the artist’s studio in Williamsburg, Brooklyn using metalworking techniques Megan learned as a Fine Arts student at Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, NY and Studio Art Centers International in Florence, Italy.
In addition to MEGAN ISAACS JEWELRY, Megan has designed collections for Betsey Johnson, Kenneth Cole, DVF, and Robert Lee Morris. Her personal collaborations with fashion designers SAUNDER and Katie Gallagher have shown during numerous NYC Fashion Week presentations and in publications such as Harper’s Bazaar, Vogue, W, and Zink Magazine to list a few. These experiences have given Megan the ability to combine traditional and contemporary design concepts, resulting in jewelry that can both stand alone as artwork and complement today's fashions with ease.
